Some of our FNCI members recently visited Fota House and Gardens in Cork, one of Ireland’s finest examples of regency period architecture and once the home of the Smith-Barry family.
The FNCI recently assisted the Irish Heritage Trust in the purchase of 10 Italian carved walnut chairs which came originally from the house. It was great to see these back in their original home, and now on prominently display.
